This individual will assist with specification reviews, development of program timelines and reports, design reviews, create mechanical designs, pre-production builds, testing, documentation packages and transfers to production.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nParticipates in the overall detailed product design of the assigned device, component or system\n\nRecognizes design problems and errors and takes corrective action\n\nCoordinates with Manufacturing during pilot run and first production runs to ensure an efficient transition from Engineering into Production\n\nCreates and modifies Schematics in AutoCAD\n\nCreates and modifies Part lists and Wire lists\n\nInterfaces effectively with other organizations such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance as needed to carry out responsibilities\n\nPrepares technical summaries reporting design performance\n\nMonitors the progress of assigned devices, components or systems to ensure that technical problems are solved\n\nCoordinates and performs field management assessments\n\nWrites manufacture and test procedures and reports\n\nParticipates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products\n\nProvides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals\n\nUphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork\n\nDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct\n\nIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem\n\nDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business\n\nQualifications\n\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in electronic design with electronic circuit technology assembly processes (analog, digital, RF and/or high voltage design) or an equivalent combination of relevant technical education and experience\n\nExperience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systems\n\nKnowledge of CAD software (Inventor and AutoCAD preferred)\n\nCompetent in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint\n\nAbility to obtain DoD issued Secret clearance\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nRF experience, High Power RF experience a plus\n\nHigh Voltage experience\n\nEngineering circuit simulation/analysis program exposure\n\nOccasional travel is anticipated\n\nActive DoD issued Secret clearance\n\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
