This position reports to the security manager and plays an important role in protecting company systems, data, and operations.\r\nThe ideal candidate is a strong technical problem solver with a passion for cybersecurity, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to contribute directly to improving the security posture of a growing organization.\r\nCandidates should have a degree in computer science or a related technology field, an IT security certification, or at least three years of experience working in a security role within a corporate IT environment.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nThe Security Analyst will support day-to-day security operations, assist with security initiatives, and work closely with senior security and systems administration team members. Responsibilities include:\r\nTriage antivirus, endpoint protection, and security monitoring alerts\r\nReview and respond to SIEM escalations\r\nSupport helpdesk escalations related to security, access, systems, and third-party applications\r\nTroubleshoot issues across a wide range of corporate software and security tools\r\nSupport the execution of the company's patch management process\r\nParticipate in the vulnerability management program, including scan review, remediation tracking, and reporting\r\nPrepare security scan reports and provide findings to senior security team members\r\nExecute security improvements as directed by senior security leadership\r\nAssist with internal, client, vendor, and third-party security assessments\r\nParticipate in or host security assessment meetings with clients and external partners\r\nSupport asset management processes, including updates to hardware and software inventory systems\r\nMaintain and support companywide security and IT tools\r\nAssist with employee account changes in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related platforms\r\nHelp train employees on security tools, procedures, and best practices as needed\r\nMake recommendations to strengthen the company's security posture\r\nSupport security-related projects in collaboration with the systems administration team\r\nDocument procedures, findings, remediation steps, and security-related activities\r\nQualifications\r\nThe successful candidate will bring a combination of technical ability, sound judgment, and a team-focused approach.
