Pacific work hours.\r\nCTG is seeking an experienced Epic Orders Analyst to support the expansion of Epic into Ambulatory and Behavioral Health settings across the health system. This role will focus on the design, build, and optimization of provider ordering workflows within Epic Orders, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant ordering practices across outpatient and behavioral health environments.\r\nThe analyst will collaborate closely with clinical leadership, providers, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and behavioral health stakeholders to support standardized, evidence-based order sets and workflows.\r\nApplication Build & Expansion\r\nDesign, build, and configure order sets, preference lists, and ordering workflows within Epic Orders.\r\nSupport expansion of Epic into ambulatory clinics and behavioral health programs.\r\nConfigure SmartSets, order panels, and clinical decision support tools.\r\nAlign ordering workflows with specialty-specific requirements (primary care, psychiatry, therapy services, etc.).\r\nMaintain order transmittal settings for ancillary departments.\r\nClinical Decision Support & Safety\r\nBuild and maintain alerts, hard stops, and best practice advisories to promote patient safety.\r\nEnsure regulatory compliance for behavioral health medication ordering and documentation.\r\nCollaborate with pharmacy and clinical informatics teams on medication-related workflows.\r\nSupport opioid stewardship, controlled substance workflows, and state prescribing regulations.\r\nWorkflow Optimization\r\nEvaluate current and future-state workflows for ambulatory and behavioral health settings.\r\nStandardize order sets across service lines while maintaining specialty flexibility.\r\nReduce provider burden through streamlined ordering design.\r\nParticipate in governance committees for order set review and approval.\r\nIntegration & Testing\r\nCollaborate with application teams (Ambulatory, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology) to ensure end-to-end workflow integrity.\r\nDevelop and execute test scripts for integrated workflows.\r\nSupport go-live planning, activation, and stabilization efforts.\r\nTroubleshoot order routing, interface, and downstream system issues.\r\nDocumentation & Governance\r\nMaintain comprehensive build documentation.\r\nSupport change control and order set governance processes.\r\nAssist with training materials and workflow education as needed.\r\nQualifications\r\nBackground in settings that prioritize behavioral health as a core component of patient care is strongly preferred.\r\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.\r\nCTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.\r\nTo Apply\r\nTo be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
