Maintenance Specialist
What You'll DoYou'll be part of a talented team supporting our distribution center and office facilities. You'll utilize both mechanical and electrical skills to maintain and troubleshoot:Conveyor systemsPneumatic and hydraulic systemsElectrical distribution equipmentHVAC systemsProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs)You'll also support general facility upkeep. Ultimately, you'll do what is needed to keep the facility up and running, allowing our teams to focus on getting products to customers accurately and quickly.When You'll WorkWe are currently hiring for our 2nd shift and 3rd shifts:2nd shift - 2:30pm to 11:00pm3rd shift - 10:30pm to 7:00am, will include a weekend dayWe also have options for 4x10 schedules (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts) near these general shift times. While we expect these to be the primary hours, assignments may change over time based on business needs.Who You AreWe're looking for dependable team players who prioritize and communicate well, take pride in their work, and can also work well independently. You should have 5+ years of maintenance experience, with a strong foundation of mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, including:Experience with hand tools, small gearbox maintenance, and diagnosis of gear and belt drive systemsFamiliarity with centrifugal pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systemsAbility to read electrical prints and use a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical issuesExperience diagnosing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and understanding digital inputs and outputsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)The following experience is highly relevant but not required:Experience with highly automated packaging, sortation, or carton closeout machinesMechanical skills - welding, machining, fabrication, operating a Lathe, Bridgeport, MIG and/or TIG welder, or Sheet Metal Brake, moving and setting equipment, moving conveyors, maintaining HVAC or fire suppression systemsElectrical skills - Arc Flash protocols, programming VFDsProgramming/technical skills - programming Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC code, experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)Cash CompensationTotal cash compensation typically ranges from $119,625 - $137,625 depending on your experience and skill set.
