If you are passionate about delivering compassionate care and thrive in a collaborative team, this position could be the perfect next step in your healthcare career.Responsibilities:Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming experienceTake and record accurate vital signs and patient historiesPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresAdminister injections and vaccinations in accordance with protocolsPerform basic wound care and assist with minor proceduresConduct physical exams and well-child checks for both pediatric and adult patientsSet up and assist with minor in-office procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readyManage electronic medical records (EMR) documentation efficiently and accuratelyCommunicate test results, follow-up instructions, and health education to patientsCoordinate with healthcare team members to provide seamless patient careSupport administrative duties such as messaging and calling patients for follow-ups and resultsRequired Skills:Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential and American Heart Association BLS certificationMinimum of 6 months to 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, including clinical dutiesPrior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsStrong communication and patient interaction skillsBasic computer proficiency and phone skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adultsKnowledge of vaccines and orthopedic procedures (preferred)Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly preferredProfessional appearance in approved dress code (black scrubs, natural hair color, tattoos covered, no facial hair or visible piercings beyond earrings)Nice to Have Skills:Experience in family medicine clinics or primary care settingsKnowledge of pediatric and adult patient workflowsFamiliarity with minor in-office procedures and wound care techniquesBilingual communication skills in Spanish or other languagesPreferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredRelevant certification in medical assisting or related fieldPrior experience in a clinical setting, preferably 6 months to 1 year serving pediatric and adult patientsOther Requirements:Availability for day shifts, Monday through Friday, with the following schedule options: 8:00 am 5:00 pm, 8:15 am 5:15 pm, or 8:30 am 5:30 pmValid state license (if applicable) upon submissionAbility to pass background checks and provide professional referencesMust be local to the area to ensure reliable attendanceCompliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies and other health protocolsCompletion of mandatory modules during orientation, with hours counted toward scheduleStrict adherence to dress code policies, including covered tattoos, no acrylic nails, and no unnatural hair colorsIf you are a dedicated Medical Assistant ready to support patient care in a respected clinical setting, we want to hear from you!
