This role operates in a classified environment supporting national security objectives with cutting-edge data science techniques.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis workflows to support mission objectives\nAnalyze large, complex datasets from multiple intelligence sources to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights\nBuild and maintain data pipelines, data transformation processes, and analytic tools\nSupport integration of disparate data systems to enable comprehensive analysis across domains\nDevelop visualizations, dashboards, and reporting tools to communicate analytic findings\nApply data mining, predictive analytics, and pattern recognition techniques to space and counterspace problems\nCollaborate with engineers and analysts to refine requirements and operationalize data science solutions\nDocument methodologies, models, and processes for reproducibility and mission continuity\nEnsure compliance with security, data governance, and classified environment requirements\nPerform code review and software quality testing\nReview and utilize RESTful APIs for data access\nApply software design patterns, code review practices, and unit/integration testing\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure\nContribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field\nExperience in data science, analytics, or a related technical discipline (academic research and internships may be considered)\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python or R\nExperience with data analysis libraries and tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, or similar)\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance With Polygraph\nStrong software development background (Python, R, Java)\nExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices\nAPI design and development experience\nTest-driven development or equivalent quality practices\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn)\nFamiliarity with big data platforms and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, or distributed computing environments)\nExposure to geospatial analytics, space domain awareness, or intelligence-related datasets\nAstrodynamics or orbital mechanics familiarity (or experience with STK)\nTime-series analysis\nNLP/text analytics\nCloud platforms (AWS GovCloud)\nContainerization (Docker, Kubernetes)\nCI/CD and DevSecOps experience\nExperience with IC data environments or tools\nExperience transitioning prototype models to operational production pipelines\nBasic Compensation:\n$$150,000 - $181,000\nThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.\nAdditional Compensation:\nKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
