This role is responsible for supervising field operations, coordinating subcontractors and crews, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining project schedules and safety standards.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced restoration environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day field operations for reconstruction projectsSupervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal construction crewsEnsure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standardsReview project scopes, schedules, and job specifications with project managers and estimatorsConduct regular jobsite inspections and quality control checksCoordinate material deliveries, labor scheduling, and workflow sequencingEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety procedures on all jobsitesCommunicate project progress and updates with customers, management, and office staffIdentify and resolve field issues, delays, and customer concernsMaintain accurate job documentation, photos, and daily reportsAssist with punch lists, final walkthroughs, and project closeoutParticipate in emergency response situations when neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5 years of residential or commercial construction experiencePrevious superintendent or construction leadership experience preferredRestoration and insurance reconstruction experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codesAbility to read blueprints, scopes of work, and project schedulesValid drivers license with acceptable driving recordStrong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple active projects simultaneouslyPreferred CertificationsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 CertificationIICRC Certifications preferredExperience with Xactimate and restoration management software preferredContractor licensing experience a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance bonus opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Company phone and technology supportOngoing training and advancement opportunitiesSupportive team-oriented work environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, climb ladders, and inspect active construction sites dailyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to work in varying environmental and weather conditionsFrequent local travel between job sites required
