Urgent need for Project Manager - Global Capability Center (GCC) Program- Remote

Job Title: Project Manager – Global Capability Center (GCC) ProgramLocation: United States Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Execution & DeliveryDevelop and manage detailed project plans aligned with GCC strategy and phased rollout(including 90-day execution plans)Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical path across multipleworkstreamsDrive execution discipline and accountability across all program streamsIndustry-Aligned Program LeadershipApply domain knowledge of manufacturing/automotive/industrial operations to guideprogram executionEnsure GCC capabilities align with business needs such as engineering services, productdevelopment support, and operational efficiencyCross-Functional & Global CoordinationServe as the central coordination point between U.S. leadership and offshore GCC teamsPartner with Engineering, IT, Security, HR, Finance, and external vendors to driveintegrated deliveryPMO Governance & ReportingEstablish and manage governance cadence including weekly status reviews, executivedashboards, and steering committee updatesMaintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure proactivemitigationStandardize reporting and tracking mechanisms across all workstreamsRisk, Compliance & Operational ReadinessIdentify risks related to GCC scale-up (e.g., talent ramp, knowledge transfer, IP protection,tooling integration)Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standardsFinancial & Resource ManagementSupport program budget tracking, vendor coordination, and resource planningMonitor program spend and drive cost optimizationChange Management & TransitionSupport transition of work into the GCC including knowledge transfer, process stabilization,and adoption trackingDrive communication and change management initiatives to ensure successful integrationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)8–12+ years of experience in project/program management within large enterprisesU.S.-based experience working with global delivery models (onshore/offshore)Proven experience supporting GCC setup, shared services transformation, or global operatingmodel initiativesStrong familiarity with automotive, manufacturing, or industrial domain processesExperience managing cross-functional programs involving Engineering, IT, and OperationsExpertise in PMO governance, execution frameworks, and reportingProficiency with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and advanced ExcelPreferred QualificationsDirect experience in automotive suppliers, OEMs, or industrial manufacturing organizationsExposure to engineering applications, PLM systems, lab environments, or product developmentworkflowsPMP, PgMP, or Agile certificationExperience with digital engineering platforms, cloud transformation, or enterprise systemmodernization
