Operations Planning SME (TS/SCI) – Fort Meade, MD (Onsite)We are hiring a senior-level Operations Planning SME to support strategic and joint operational planning efforts at Fort Meade. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and a strong background in multi-domain military environments.What You’ll DoLead development, analysis, and execution of joint operational and strategic plansFacilitate Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning TeamsConduct mission analysis and support COA development and evaluationAuthor and review planning documents (CONOPS, OPORDs, white papers, etc.)Translate strategic guidance into actionable plans and directivesSupport crisis action, future, and deliberate planning effortsCollaborate across Joint, Service, and Combatant Command stakeholdersServe as a senior advisor to military and civilian leadershipRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree + 15 years of relevant experience OR Master’s + 10 years (additional experience may substitute for degree)Extensive experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) from initiation through plan/order developmentStrong understanding of planning frameworks (BPLAN, CONPLAN, OPLAN, Commander’s Estimate)Expertise in mission analysis and COA development, including evaluation criteriaPreferred QualificationsGraduate of JAWS or SAMSExperience within a Combatant Command (CCMD) J5 or J35 environmentBackground in DoD acquisition or program management supporting IT/communications solutionsIAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, SSCP, etc.)Compensation & BenefitsPay: $75–$85/hr (based on experience)Benefits available starting day 31, including:Medical, dental, visionHSA/FSA options401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and sick leaveIf you’re interested, apply today or reach out directly to learn more.
