We are on the lookout for passionate individuals who are eager to dive into the world of technology and make a real difference in healthcare.\n\nOver the course of 12 dynamic weeks, you’ll have the chance to work on impactful technology projects, receive comprehensive training, and benefit from invaluable mentorship that will supercharge your career.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nMeaningful Work: Contribute within the Artificial Intelligence track by building impactful technical solutions that drive innovation across The Cigna Group while strengthening your real-world skills.\nLearn by Collaborating: Learn by doing alongside peers, mentors, and cross-functional partners through hands-on projects, recruiting support, innovation efforts, community initiatives, and onboarding experiences.\nStructured Learning: Grow through a blend of core and track-specific curriculum, including technical training, leadership development, and business exposure to support your development as a well-rounded technologist.\nCommunity & Connection: Build strong relationships across the organization through networking, mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and informal peer engagement that support both personal and professional growth.\n\nQualifications\n\nWhat you need to do the job:\n\nMust be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on machine learning methodologies and applications.\nFoundational understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, with experience applying them through coursework, projects, research, or prior experience.\nWorking knowledge of Python and exposure to machine learning or generative AI libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar tools.\nExperience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization using tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib to prepare data sets for model training.\nExposure to model evaluation, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, large language models, or responsible AI practices through coursework, projects, research, or prior experience is preferred.\nFamiliarity with big data technologies and platforms such as Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights through machine learning applications.\nStrong communication skills to convey technical concepts and findings to nontechnical audiences and foster collaboration across teams.\nA proactive attitude toward continuous learning and staying current on machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.\nA GPA of 3.3 or higher is preferred.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nLocations: The role requires a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three days per week working onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of the employee’s choice), and the option to work the remaining days remotely. Employees must be able to meet the onsite schedule.\n\nProgram Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week beginning May 24th, 2027. Working days are Monday – Friday.\n\nCompensation: The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $25.00 to $33.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and location.\n\nWork Authorization / Visa Sponsorship: One goal of this leadership development program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for leadership roles with The Cigna Group upon program completion. Therefore, this position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who do not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship including, but not limited to, H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM.\n\nPre-Employment Requirements: Selected candidates will be required to complete mandatory pre-employment tasks approximately 45 days prior to the program’s start date.
