Project Manager

Yorktel is currently seeking a Project Manager who is a member of the onsite client Project Management Team within York Telecom Corporation. A Qualified Project Manager will apply their industry knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and administrative techniques to coordinate activities to implement various solutions at the client site for York Telecom customers.Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for coordinating all internal and external tasks to deploy assigned service projectsAbility to handle several large to mid-size projects as well as several additional smaller projects simultaneouslyResponsible for conducting internal and external kickoff meetings for projects and establishing project schedulesResponsible for scheduling and holding project status meetings, as necessaryAbility to project job cost assessment and tracking related to each effort as well as providing monthly project forecastsInterface with vendors as necessaryAct as Single Point of Contact during project executionLeadership and Supervisory Responsibilities:Able to lead the Project Team to meet assigned success criteriaLead by Example on all engagementsResponsible for overall client satisfactionDirect and collaborate with project team members for completion of project tasksSkills and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent sales and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEducation and Experience:3 - 5 years' experience in Project Management in the Customer Service areaPMP or equivalent Project Management Certification desiredDegree or equivalent experience in a Technical FieldAdditional Requirements:Valid U.S. driver's license is a requirement.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.Limited weekend and/or night work may be requiredMust be willing to apply for and receive Suitability ClearanceIf permissible by applicable law, may be required as a condition of employment to complete a background check and/or drug test if required by law or by current or future contracts/clients/vendors, etc.Join us and you will enjoy an excellent salary and benefits package, including 401k and Flex 125 plans.
