This role assists with Azure and/or AWS operations, cloud solution design, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and the deployment and operational support of AI services in Azure, including Microsoft Foundry. The position works closely with project managers, business stakeholders, application teams, and senior engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and well-documented technology solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport daily operations, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability for Azure and/or AWS environments.\nAssist with the design, deployment, configuration, patching, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and platform services.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep, Azure CLI, or PowerShell to enable repeatable and secure deployments.\nProvision and support Azure AI services, including Microsoft Foundry, through environment setup, access management, monitoring, and documentation.\nPartner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, standards, and operational procedures.\nParticipate in change management, production readiness, incident response, and availability management processes.\nIdentify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nCollaborate with senior engineers and architects on cloud standards, security practices, and platform enhancements.\nMonitor cloud costs and recommend optimization opportunities.\nManage monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and CloudWatch.\nSupport security patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.\nProvide technical support and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of enterprise IT experience.\nExperience supporting cloud infrastructure in a medium to large organization.\nWorking knowledge of Azure and/or AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, security, and cost management.\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Azure Bicep and Azure CLI/PowerShell.\nUnderstanding of cloud deployments, automation, troubleshooting, and operational support.\nFamiliarity with change management, incident management, and production support processes.\nStrong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage priorities and deliver work within established timelines.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Services, AI model deployment, or AI platform operations.\nKnowledge of responsible AI practices, AI operations, model lifecycle management, and prompt engineering.\nExperience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude Code, or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git workflows, and deployment automation.\nScripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, or AWS CLI.\nKnowledge of cloud security, identity management, monitoring, logging, compliance, and governance.\nRelevant Azure, AWS, Terraform, or AI certifications.\n\nKey Skills\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across cloud, infrastructure, networking, identity, and automation environments.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nEffective communication with both technical and business audiences.\nStrong documentation and operational discipline.\nAbility to learn new cloud, automation, and AI technologies quickly.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on security, compliance, and continuous improvement.\nAbility to remain effective during production incidents and high-pressure situations.\n\nTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ®\n\nRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
