Learn more at www.verint.com.\nOverview of Job Function:\nThe Solutions Design Engineer (SE) is a key member of the Sales Team responsible for supporting technical pre-sales activities across Verint’s Fraud and Security Solutions portfolio.\nThis role works with customers, partners, and our sales team to understand requirements and assist in designing and positioning solutions that address fraud prevention, physical security, and operational intelligence needs within financial services and enterprise environments.\nThe SE applies of EdgeVMS, security technologies, and enterprise architectures, along with a foundational understanding of data analytics and related technologies, to contribute to solution design and help deliver positive customer outcomes through compelling demo's and persuasive presentations.\nPrincipal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:\nCustomer Engagement & Discovery\nParticipate in technical discovery discussions to understand customer requirements, environments, and objectives.\nGather and document business and technical requirements to support solution design.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.\nSolution Design & Technical Sales Support\nAssist in designing solutions across video management (EdgeVMS), security systems, and analytics capabilities.\nDeliver standard and tailored product demonstrations (remote and onsite) with guidance from senior team members.\nSupport development of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.\nHelp ensure solution accuracy and alignment with customer requirements throughout the sales process.\nPresales Support & Validation\nLead technical execution of proof of concept (POC) and pilot engagements.\nAssist in validating solution performance against defined requirements.\nContribute to documenting results and supporting customer evaluations.\nCollaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment\nWork closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Customer Success teams to support opportunities.\nProvide feedback on customer requirements and product capabilities.\nAssist with transitioning opportunities from pre-sales to post-sales teams.\nTechnical Enablement & Development\nParticipate in internal and partner training on Verint solutions and technologies.\nContribute to demo environments and technical assets as assigned.\nActively build product knowledge and technical expertise\nContinuous Learning & Improvement\nStay current on industry trends including fraud prevention, physical security, cloud, and analytics.\nDevelop familiarity with evolving features and capabilities within the Verint platform.\nIdentify opportunities to improve personal effectiveness, tools, and processes.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.\n3–5+ years of experience in presales engineering, technical support, systems engineering, or related technical role.\nFoundational experience with video management systems, surveillance technologies, or security solutions.\nExperience working with customers or internal stakeholders in a technical capacity.\nAbility to understand customer requirements, and assist in designing, delivering and articulating practical technical solutions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.\nBasic understanding of networking, systems architecture, and enterprise environments\nFamiliarity with data-driven or analytics-enabled solutions at a conceptual or working level.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a remote work environment.\nAbility to travel up to 25–40% domestically.\nNortheast Region as preferred location.\nSuccessful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.\nPreferred Requirements\nStrong experience to video management platforms (e.g., EdgeVMS or similar solutions)\nBasic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or virtualization technologies\nFamiliarity with SQL, reporting tools, or dashboards (e.g., Power BI)\nExperience in financial services, fraud prevention, or physical security environments\nAbility to troubleshoot and analyze basic networked systems.\nExposure to analytics, automation, or AI-enabled features within enterprise
