Server/Busser

**Job Summary:** An employee in this position is responsible for the safe handling and serving of meals to residents in a Home for the Aged (HFA) Assisted Living and Memory Care environment. An employee in this position works under the supervision of the itchen Manager **Duties:** Deliver meals to residents promptly and accurately Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling standards Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area Provide friendly and attentive service to residents Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and delivered correctly * Assist with Dishes * Help with cleaning the kitchen as needed and the juice/ coffee area. * Record refriderator and freezer temperatures daily. * Maintain clean work environment; including dining room and kitchenette area. * Become familiar with location of the Communities Disaster Manual and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and the reporting system specified in the Right to Know policy. * Excellent attendance, timeliness in reporting to work, and discussion of all absences, injuries, and illneses with the Dietary Manager. * Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment **Skills:** Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with hotel and hospitality operations Ability to work in a kitchen environment Experience with bussing and food delivery Friendly and customer-focused demeanor *Reliable transortation to work with flexibility to work any day of the week, any designated shift. *Satisfactory references, background check, drug screen, pre-employment physical and current TB Test or chest x-ray for tuberculosis.
