Today, the company is focusing on carbon reductions, not offsets, as it works toward achieving its verified science-based targets by 2030 and its goal to become a carbon negative enterprise by 2040.\nPosition summary:\nElectrician 1 is responsible for troubleshooting electrical system, up-grading electrical devices and equipment, as well as general plant facilities modernization.\nEducational requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nTech school certificate preferred\nSkills and experience:\n3 to 5 years of experience in the electrical craft with some electronics preferred\nGood communication skills, written and verbal\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history report\nAbility to meet license requirements for Powered Industrial Trucks (Lift trucks, JLG's, Scissor Lift's)\nEssential duties:\nTroubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics\nBe familiar with electrical systems including, PLC, DC/AC drives, motors, HVAC, and power distributions\nEstimate, procure parts, modify and install electrical equipment\nTrain those of lesser skill sets\nBe familiar with running conduit up to 1\" rigid/EMT\nUse multimeter, amprobe and megger\nDrive company truck to various Interface locations as well as to supply companies\nComply with safety rules and environmental regulations\nBe aware of departmental Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and LOTO procedures\nUnderstand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.\nEnsure ISO procedures are followed.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nMaintain housekeeping\nWhile performing any overhead work or task that creates metal shavings/foreign debris you must take all necessary precautions to prevent material from getting in the carpet\nPhysical demands:\nLifting up to 40 lbs.\nExtensive walking\nDaily climbing of ladders and stairs\nWork environment:\nNon-climate controlled manufacturing environment\nWork areas include but are not limited to: electrical panel, power distribution switchgear, breaker panel, etc... which requires PPE that is provided by the company\n#LI-AS1\n#On-site\nWe are a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
