We are proud & honored to provide these services.\nOverview of position:\nFEDITC is seeking a Sr. Power Platform Developer to work in the Scott AFB, IL area. This role is critical in developing, implementing, and maintaining custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI, with a strong emphasis on Power BI architecture, data modeling, security configuration, and advanced report development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving process automation, enabling data-driven decision-making, and solving complex business challenges with scalable, secure digital solutions.\nA United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.\nResponsibilities:\nPower BI Subject Matter Expertise:\nServe as the organization’s Power BI SME, providing expert guidance on best practices for modeling, structuring, and visualizing data, report development, and workspace configuration.\nDesign and optimize enterprise‑grade data models, including star schemas, semantic layers, and reusable datasets that support scalable analytics.\nConfigure and manage Power BI permissions, including row‑level security (RLS), object‑level security (OLS), workspace roles, dataset access, and secure sharing aligned with DoD requirements.\nStructure and maintain Power BI workspaces for development, testing, and production, ensuring proper separation, version control, and deployment consistency.\nDevelop a wide range of report types, including interactive dashboards, paginated reports, scorecards, and self‑service datasets tailored to diverse stakeholder needs and organizational reporting strategy.\nImplement best practices for DAX optimization, data refresh performance, and dataset lifecycle management.\nTroubleshoot complex Power BI issues, including refresh failures, performance bottlenecks, data integrity challenges, and security configuration conflicts.\nProvide expert consultation to teams on how to leverage Power BI effectively, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.\nDevelop and Implement Custom Solutions:\nDesign, build, and deploy custom applications and workflows using PowerApps and Power Automate to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.\nBuild scalable data models that integrate and manage data seamlessly across applications.\nContinuously optimize and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs.\nProblem Solving and Solution Design:\nWork closely with business leaders and technical teams to identify challenges and design tailored Power Platform solutions.\nApply critical thinking to resolve technical and functional issues, delivering user-friendly solutions that meet business objectives.\nProactively identify opportunities to automate processes and improve existing workflows.\nCollaboration and Communication:\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify business objectives, ensuring technical solutions align with those needs.\nEffectively communicate technical concepts and design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and workflows.\nExperience/Skills:\n6+ years of related experience\nProven experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).\nStrong data analysis and visualization skills with experience in creating Power BI reports and dashboards.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on solution design and process optimization.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nAbility to work with stakeholders at all levels to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.\nServiceNow experience desired\nClearance:\nActive Secret Security Clearance is required.\nMust be a US Citizen and pass a background check.\nMaintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).\nBenefits:\nMedical\nDental\nVision\n401K with 4% match\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nLife and Disability Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nDependent Care Reimbursement Program\nGroup Term Life Insurance\nSupplemental Life and A&D Insurance\nShort & Long Term Disability\nLife Discount Program\nFEDITC, LLC. is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
