Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.\r\nWhat You'll Achieve\r\nThe Mobile Platform team's mission is to deliver a best-in-class mobile app by making it easy to build high-quality, performant features.\r\nYou'll help mobile product teams by developing services, frameworks, and shared UI components, setting the direction for how features should be built on Android.\r\nYou'll improve the performance, reliability, and polish of our Android app.\r\nYou'll drive developer velocity through improvements to our build systems, mobile CI/CD, and the release process.\r\nSkills You'll Need To Bring\r\nThoughtful problem-solving: decompose tricky problems, work toward clean solutions, and ask for help when stuck.\r\nAbility to ship quality apps at scale: collaborate to build and maintain large-audience Android apps, following scalability practices.\r\nNon-ideological about technology: evaluate trade-offs, remain open to learning new tech.\r\nEmpathetic communication: explain technical decisions clearly, engage thoughtfully in disagreements, and compromise when needed.\r\nTeam player: collaborate cross-functionally, promote learning, and help others grow.\r\nCuriosity about AI tools: willing to adopt tools like Claude, Code, or Codex to work smarter and deliver better results.\r\nNice To Haves\r\nProficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Circuit, and openness to occasional Rust or TypeScript work.\r\nFamiliarity with computing pioneers such as Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and their influence on our work.\r\nInterests outside technology (art, history, social sciences, etc.).\r\nNotion is an equal opportunity employer.
