The position shall use a variety of platforms to provide automated\nsystems applications to customers. This individual will be viewed both internally and externally as a\ntechnical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.\nHis/her responsibilities include performing the following tasks:\nA. Developing enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions including major\nenhancements and interfaces, functions, and features;\nB. Providing expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business;\nC. Determining specifications, then planning, designing, and developing the most complex and business-\ncritical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes (either individually or in\nconcert with a project team);\nD. Assisting in the most difficult support problems;\nE. Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming\narchitectures for code reuse;\nF. Understanding and consistently applying the attributes and processes of current application\ndevelopment methodologies;\nG. Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and their possible application to\nthe business; and\nH. Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.\nAdditional Application Integration & Architecture Responsibilities Include:\n? Serve as the FHIR API Lead, leveraging FHIR and HL7 standards to support CMS\nInteroperability Rule 0057-F and enable secure and efficient healthcare data exchange.\n? Design and implement FHIR-based solutions to expose clinical and claims data via standardized\nAPIs using cloud platforms such as AWS.\n? Develop and maintain Enterprise Integration Architecture guidelines and policies, with emphasis\non SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles.\n? Collaborate with developers to build mapping between source and target data formats, including\ndatabase, flat files, X12, JSON, XML, HL7v2, and FHIR.\n? Guide teams on application web service and API integration with a focus on scalability,\nperformance, security, and reliability.\n? Design reusable components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support enterprise-level\napplication integration and web services.\n? Ensure compliance with integration design standards, patterns, and best practices.\n? Work with architects and developers to align integration solutions with enterprise architecture.\n? Analyze, review, and recommend improvements to expand and mature enterprise application\nintegration strategies.\n? Support governance board activities by reviewing application integration changes and\narchitectural decisions.\n?
