This position is responsible for maintaining and executing the day-to-day planning and scheduling of client training activities while balancing customer requirements, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and employee resource allocation.\n\nManage and execute daily client training schedules for assigned aircraft platforms.\n\nSchedule and coordinate instructor training activities, including booking, authorization tracking, qualification tracking, and resource allocation.\n\nPartner with Training Managers to ensure customer training requirements, course programs, employee resources, and booking information are accurate and aligned with operational needs.\n\nCollaborate with Training Managers to support the development and maintenance of course catalogs and ensure courses are accurately entered into scheduling systems.\n\nAllocate instructor, simulator, and training resources to support training delivery while balancing client needs, regulatory requirements, operational goals, and employee work-life considerations.\n\nProactively identify scheduling challenges and develop alternative solutions to support training delivery and customer satisfaction.\n\nMonitor regulatory requirements and ensure training schedules comply with applicable National Aviation Authority (NAA) regulations and CAE requirements.\n\nServe as the primary owner of the regulatory conflict resolution process related to training scheduling.\n\nAdapt schedules and resource assignments to address changing priorities, customer requests, cancellations, and employee absences.\n\nCommunicate regularly with Training Managers, Sales, Customer Service, and Fleet Planning colleagues to address training requirements and scheduling needs.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve schedule utilization and operational efficiency while supporting revenue retention and customer satisfaction.\n\nWork independently as the Savannah-based Fleet Planner while collaborating with Fleet Planning teams across multiple locations.\n\nOccasionally provide coverage and support for Client Services Representative responsibilities, which may include front desk support when needed.\n\nParticipate in initial training delivered at another CAE location, which may include travel to New Jersey or Dallas for several weeks.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n2-5 years of aviation industry experience or experience in a related operational scheduling, planning, logistics, or training coordination environment.\n\nExperience coordinating schedules, resources, or training activities in a regulated environment.\n\nAbility to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.\n\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing business demands.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and locations.\n\nExperience using scheduling, planning, or business systems.\n\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\n\nAbility to travel out of state for several weeks during initial training.\n\nAvailability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree.\n\nExperience in aviation training operations, flight training, simulator scheduling, or related aviation environments.\n\nKnowledge of National Aviation Authority (NAA) regulations or comparable regulatory requirements.\n\nExperience coordinating instructor qualifications, training records, or certification tracking.\n\nExperience collaborating with customer-facing teams, sales organizations, or training management teams.\n\nDemonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex scheduling and resource allocation challenges.\n\nExperience supporting course catalog management or learning/training administration systems.\n\nExperience supporting course catalog management or learning/training administration systems.\n\nBenefits\n\nWe have designed programs and policies that support employee well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance.\n\nPlans and Programs\n\nComprehensive group insurance program\n\nTelemedicine services\n\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nEmployee Share Purchase Plan\n\nGroup Registered Retirement Savings Plan (Group RRSP)\n\nDefined Benefit Pension Plan\n\nSabbatical leave (subject to eligibility)\n\nEnhanced parental leave benefits\n\nAbout CAE\n\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
