WorthOpen 24 hours a day, seven days a weekFull-service ED with highly qualified nursing staffProviding care for a wide variety of patients from neonate, pediatric and seniors covering an array of illnesses and injuriesEnjoy self-scheduling to help with work/life balance.Excellent opportunities for educational and career growth including advancement opportunities in leadership.Here’s What You NeedNursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredCurrent RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hireCLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalencyBCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS – within 90 days of hire requiredPALS – within 90 days of hire requiredNIHSS – within 90 days of hire requiredTNCC or ATCN – within 12 months of hire requiredENPC – within 12 months of hire requiredCPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire1-year clinical RN nursing experience requiredED experience strongly preferred In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patientspossess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalismhave basic computer skills using medical management application systemsWhat You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
