You'll work alongside our Staff Data Engineer to build reliable, maintainable pipelines that power analytics and business operations across the company.\r\nThis is a hands-on implementation role. You'll implement new data infrastructure to replace legacy systems, architect solutions with the team, and build the orchestration layer that keeps data flowing reliably. If you enjoy making messy data problems clean and building infrastructure that others can trust, this is the role.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nBuild and maintain data extraction pipelines from various sources into BigQuery\r\nRefactor and modernize existing extraction systems\r\nImplement monitoring and alerting for pipeline health\r\nHelp design and implement our orchestration platform (tooling TBD as a team)\r\nBuild scheduling, dependency management, and failure recovery into our data workflows\r\nCreate visibility into pipeline status for the broader team and business\r\nMaintain and optimize our BigQuery data warehouse\r\nSupport DBT model development and deployment workflows\r\nImplement CI/CD for data infrastructure changes\r\nSupport SOC 2 compliance requirements for data systems\r\nImplement security controls and access management in BigQuery\r\nDocument data flows and maintain data catalogs\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\n3+ years data engineering experience building extraction pipelines\r\nStrong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift)\r\nExperience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar)\r\nGoogle Cloud experience (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage) (AWS / Azure is ok too)\r\nCI/CD and containerization experience (Docker)\r\nAbility to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders\r\nExperience with DBT\r\nFivetran or similar managed ingestion tools\r\nBackground in compliance/governance work (SOC 2, data privacy)\r\nExperience cleaning up legacy data systems\r\nOur Stack\r\nWarehouse: BigQuery\r\nTransformation: DBT, DBT Cloud\r\nIngestion: Fivetran, Datastream\r\nInfrastructure: Google Cloud (Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, CloudSQL), Databricks\r\nBI/Analytics: Omni, Amplitude\r\nReverse ETL: Hightouch\r\nMonitoring: Datadog\r\nBonus Points\r\nYou're a parent, coach, or participant in recreational sports\r\nYou've used TeamSnap\r\nGot cold feet?
