You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern web applications across the front and back end. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with frontend frameworks, backend APIs, databases, and cloud-based deployments. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, solid software development experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable front-end applications using frontend libraries and frameworks.Develop robust back-end services and APIs using backend technologies.Work on existing application tech debt and improve maintenance.Manage and optimize database schemas and queries.Improve performance by caching both on the client side and server side.Ensure seamless integration between the front-end components and back-end logic.Build reusable code and libraries for future use and maintain technical documentation.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance across various devices.Implement security and data protection protocols to ensure application integrity.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate epics into deliverable features.Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to maintain high code quality and reliability.Manage version control and deployment pipelines.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworksExperience with backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Node.jsHands-on experience with REST APIs and microservicesExperience working with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL)Solid understanding of Git, version control, and software development lifecycleFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization toolsExperience deploying to and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Nice to HaveExperience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data processingExposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, PyTest)Background working in Agile/Scrum environmentsKnowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)These job duties require attainment of at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field.Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hrThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
