Duties also include unloading pad truck deliveries each week and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and well organized. Pad volume varies by location and weights range from 43 to 86 pounds. Lift support is available in our higher volume warehouses. The role also assists with inventory and handles order paperwork and may be asked to transport materials or provide support to another warehouse on occasion.\nResponsibilities:\nAccurately measure and cut carpet and pad based on customer order and prepare/stage for installer pick-up the following morning.\nUnload pad truck and other deliveries as received; store product as instructed, following established systems and processes.\nEnsure that warehouse and surrounding area is clean and organized at all times.\nOperate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely; completes company-sponsored forklift certification training.\nOrganize information as directed for inventory control.\nMaintain knowledge of and follow our safety protocols. Including incident response processes.\nManages the used carpet/pad drop-off area, ensuring that it is neat and clean.\nJob Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAbility to lift 40-86 pounds with assistance\nEffective verbal communication skills\nCollaborative; team player\nUnderstands what good customer service looks and feels like; demonstrates this in action\nReasonably organized; willing and able to work with established processes\nValid drivers license and clean driving record\nNote: Must be 21 years or older. Employment in this role is also contingent on passing a background check and a drug screen.
