This is a dynamic, junior-level role perfect for someone with a background in engineering or biology who wants to pivot their scientific knowledge into digital marketing, brand building, and event execution.In this role, you won't be at the bench, but you will need to understand the science deeply enough to champion a platform that is rewriting the rules of cell engineering. You will be the engine behind our outward-facing activity—handling everything from deploying our social media strategy to managing the logistics of our global conference presence. Coordinate booth logistics, manage the shipping and inventory of marketing collateral, and travel to major events to stand on the front lines, helping showcase our platform's capabilities across drug screening and therapeutics to the global scientific community.Digital & Social Media sStorytelling: Help deploy, monitor, and scale Portal’s digital marketing footprint. Assist in creating, scheduling, and tracking vibrant content across LinkedIn and other professional channels that captures the excitement of our latest milestones—whether it's a new assay breakthrough or a cell therapy manufacturing advancement.Collateral Support: Assist in drafting and updating technical marketing materials, including catchy stickersslickers, newsletters, website copy, and presentation decks, ensuring technical accuracy and consistent branding across our diverse application spaces.Market & Prospect Research: Utilize digital prospecting tools and market research to help identify key industry events, track competitor updates, and support outbound lead-generation efforts across biopharma, clinical, and AI data spaces.Cross-Functional Coordination: Keep marketing efforts seamlessly aligned with our R&D and business development teams to ensure new data and customer success stories are effectively highlighted.Your Experience & QualificationsEducation: B.S. or B.A. in Bioengineering, Molecular/Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a highly related technical/scientific discipline.Experience: 0–3 years of professional experience. We are eager to chat with exceptional, driven fresh graduates or individuals with a few years of experience in technical marketing, scientific communications, or biotech operations who are genuinely excited by multi-application platform technologies.Digital Savvy: Highly comfortable with modern digital marketing tools, social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn for B2B), content management systems, or design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).Execution & Agility: A "no task too small" mindset. You are exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and nimble enough to pivot quickly between creative writing and hands-on event logistics.Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to support key industry conferences and corporate events.Location: Positioned near our headquarters in Watertown, MA (with free on-site parking) or our site in San Carlos, CA (15-minute walk from Caltrain).
