Electrician

installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Electricians work with power distribution, lighting, controls, motors, equipment, and electrical infrastructure while following applicable electrical codes and safety standards.Key Responsibilities* Install electrical conduit, wiring, panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, and equipment* Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics* Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, controls, and power distribution equipment* Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and machinery* Install and terminate conductors, cable tray, switchgear, and control systems* Test electrical systems using meters, meggers, and diagnostic equipment* Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations* Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades* Maintain a safe and organized work environment* Document work performed and report project progressSkills & Qualifications* Knowledge of electrical theory, NEC code, and safety procedures* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in various environments* Valid driver’s license preferred* Electrical license or apprenticeship experience preferredCommon Work Environments* Commercial buildings* Industrial facilities* Residential homes* Manufacturing plants* Hospitals and data centers* Water/wastewater and utility facilities
