SummaryJob Summary (Network Engineer Routing, Switching & Infrastructure Support) Provide routing and switching configuration and troubleshooting in enterprise environments. Support network device upgrades, refreshes, and infrastructure changes. Assist with data center and site network infrastructure setup, including hardware installation and connectivity. Perform fiber and cable plant tasks, such as patching, testing, and validating connectivity. Maintain WAN and LAN connectivity across multiple locations. Execute network changes following change control procedures. Help update and maintain network documentation. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on infrastructure initiatives. Utilize Cisco routers and switches; troubleshoot using knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP). Engage in physical network connectivity work (fiber/copper cabling, patch panels, SFPs). Support network operations, upgrades, and infrastructure projects in controlled settings. Preferably hold CCNA certification or equivalent experience (3 5 years in enterprise network engineering). Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) and large-scale, multi-site environments is a plus. Familiarity with data center switching and BICSI certification desirable.
