Join School on Wheels as a Volunteer Tutor!We have a students waiting for the perfect tutor who can meet them in-person in Santa Barbara!At School on Wheels, we believe that education is for everyone - and we are here to ensure that our most vulnerable, unhoused students receive the education support they deserve.Our amazing volunteers meet one-on-one each week with students experiencing homelessness—offering them encouragement, academic support, and a reliable connection.Here's what you'll bring:A friendly, patient attitude and a willingness to listen1-2 hours of time per week (we'll help you pick a schedule that works)A desire to uplift someone who just needs you to show upHere's what your student will gain:A steady mentor during a time of uncertaintyAcademic help tailored to their needs—reading, math, life skills (we provide the curriculum!)Hope and the belief that they can succeedJoin us and become part of something incredible.
