Night Auditor (Overnight Hotel Front Desk / Accounting) Full-Time

Night Auditor PositionJoin Lake Lawn Resort as a Night Auditor and play a key role in both guest service and overnight financial operations. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting tasks to ensure accurate daily reporting and a smooth transition between shifts. Position DetailsEmployment Type: Full-Time Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) Department: Front Desk / Accounting What You'll DoBalance and reconcile daily transactions across front office and point-of-sale systems Audit and verify revenue from Rooms and Food & Beverage operations Process and balance credit card transactions and transmit to the bank Post room charges, taxes, and adjustments to guest accounts Generate and distribute daily financial and operational reports Identify and resolve out-of-balance issues Back up system data and complete end-of-day system close Answer phones (PBX) and assist with guest inquiries Handle front desk transactions, check-ins/outs, and guest concerns Serve as Manager on Duty overnight when needed Process wake-up calls and support overnight guest needs RequirementsWhat We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Basic accounting knowledge required Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or accounting experience preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Experience with hotel systems (SMS or similar) is a plus Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Reliable and comfortable working overnight hours Work EnvironmentIndoor front desk and office setting Independent overnight role with minimal supervision Combination of desk work and guest interaction About Lake Lawn ResortLocated on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier destination offering exceptional guest service and well-managed operations.
