{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7e11aa01f2ce0603da9cb2af","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7e11aa01f2ce0603da9cb2af","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7e11aa01f2ce0603da9cb2af","title":"Process Operator","description":"Job Description:\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe incumbent will be responsible for: Produce blended flavors and flavor components in compliance with governmental, regulatory, company and customer standards.\nTo comply with NFI’s Safety Policy and maintains a safe and healthy work environment that meets or exceeds governmental, regulatory, company and customer standards\n\n• To comply with NFI’s Quality Policy for delivering 100% safe products to our customers.\n• To load trucks and containers with NFI finished flavors and components in compliance with governmental, regulatory, company and customer standards.\n• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of batch tickets, production orders, HACCP forms and SAP transactions\n• Inspect all outgoing containers for compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, customer, and company specifications.\n• To unload trucks and tankers of flavor components in compliance with governmental, regulatory, company and customer standards.\n• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of shipping and receiving documentation and SAP transactions.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n• High school diploma or equivalent\n• Excellent reading and writing skills in English\n• Excellent math skills for weights and measures of ingredients\n• Certified operating a forklift.\n• 5-8 years confectionary/food industry flavor blending experience\n• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills and SAP computer skills\n• Intermediate problem-solving skills\n\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES\n\n• 5-8 years confectionary/food industry flavor blending experience\n• To comply with OSHA, GMP, FDA, DOT, FAA, and EPA regulations while working in the shipping and receiving department.\n• To comply with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FDA, DOT, and EPA regulations while working in the production operations\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n\n• Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of materials, tools, and ingredients.
