Stock Room PositionThe Stock Room position requires to receive all parts and tools related to the operation and function of the engine shop, establishing pick up and drop off points and storage solutions. The role requires operation of forklift, as well as moving parts to be readily available for mechanics. Maintaining live inventory and informing department heads of any part requires missing, delayed, or overstocked.Weekend ShiftResponsibilities:Responsible for establishing delivery/pick up points for all deliveriesCompares invoice with purchase order assuring everything requested is receivedOrganize received partsEnsure inventory is accurate, kept up-to-date and maintain communication with managers to avoid setbacks due to parts missing or delayedPrimary contact for parts movementPull parts from inventory for work orders.Maintain accurate documentation of related to parts.Receiving and shipping coverage as needed.Establish delivery/pickup points for material/parts/tools ordered.Excellent knowledge of inventory managementStrong Inventory and Warehousing skillsOperating forkliftQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentPhysically able to lift/move ~40 lbsForklift certificationBasic computer skills Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook- and ability to learn other softwareMust be legally authorized to work in the U.SMust be fluent in English (written and verbal)Preferred Qualifications:Ability to be a team playerAviation industry knowledge and experience helpfulAbility to provide quality workAbility to follow throughAbility to be flexibleAbility to stay self-motivatedJob Demands:Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance.
