We are committed to protecting our people, product, and profits while fostering a safe, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.Position SummaryThe Regional Loss Prevention Manager partners closely with Store Operations, Field Leadership, Distribution Centers, and Human Resources to create and sustain a culture of safety, security, and compliance across assigned locations. This role is responsible for identifying risk, conducting investigations, reducing shrink, and influencing behavior through training, accountability, and data-driven insights.In addition to day-to-day loss prevention execution, this role provides strategic leadership by contributing to enterprise loss prevention initiatives, supporting change management efforts, and reinforcing a positive, ethical work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLoss Prevention & InvestigationsCoordinate and conduct investigations involving loss of company assets using exception reporting, surveillance, and field research.Interview associates as part of investigations; manage follow-up actions including prosecution and restitution when applicable.Partner with Store Operations, Distribution Center Operations, and HR throughout investigations.Investigate and provide remediation support to stores with inventory shrink exceeding 4% of sales.Communicate investigation findings and trends to senior leaders including the VP of Store Operations, Director of Accounting & Loss Prevention, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Store Managers.Risk Mitigation & ComplianceUtilize exception reporting to identify asset loss risks and non-compliance with company policies.Conduct store and DC audits to ensure adherence to loss prevention standards and operational controls.Ensure stores are properly equipped to protect customers, associates, and assets, with special attention to new and remodeled locations.Maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement to address market-level concerns.Training & Culture BuildingDevelop and deliver loss prevention training for stores and districts.Participate in store and district meetings to increase awareness of LP policies, procedures, and best practices.Support employee engagement, accountability, and change management initiatives that reinforce a safe and ethical workplace.Additional ResponsibilitiesStay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in retail loss prevention.Perform additional duties as assigned.Core CompetenciesIntegrity & Ethical LeadershipDemonstrates sound judgment, confidentiality, and fairness while upholding company values and policies.Risk Awareness & Problem SolvingIdentifies patterns, analyzes data, and proactively addresses shrink and safety risks.Collaboration & InfluenceBuilds strong partnerships with field leadership, operations, HR, and external stakeholders.Communication ExcellenceCommunicates findings clearly and professionally through written reports, presentations, and in-person discussions.Accountability & Results OrientationDrives measurable reductions in shrink and ensures consistent policy execution across multiple locations.Adaptability & Change LeadershipSupports operational change, navigates ambiguity, and leads through evolving business needs.Organizational EffectivenessManages multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.Required Skills & AbilitiesStrong investigative, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organizationWillingness and ability to travel as requiredEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field5+ years of loss prevention experience in a multi-location retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience using Agilence or similar exception-based reporting toolsWorking knowledge of HR policies as they relate to investigationsWicklander-Zulawski certification preferredPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to sit, speak, and hear clearlyFrequent use of hands for handling objects and technologyOccasional lifting or moving of up to 25 poundsVision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and depth perceptionAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel 50% Equal Employment OpportunityCiti Trends is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
