This senior-level role is responsible for the design, administration, security, and performance of our on-premises infrastructure, Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 environment, networking and firewall stack, and critical data integrations that support business operations and analytics.\nIf you are a hands-on technology leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, designing scalable solutions, and driving operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs our Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you'll serve as the technical owner of a diverse and mission-critical technology ecosystem, including:\nInfrastructure & Storage\nManage and optimize enterprise storage and compute environments across two geographically separate locations.\nAdminister and support 57+ physical and virtual servers, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.\nLead disaster recovery planning, capacity management, hardware lifecycle initiatives, and infrastructure modernization efforts.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and incident response playbooks.\nAzure Cloud & Microsoft 365\nDesign, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, networking, storage, and platform services.\nAdminister Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune across the organization.\nImplement Zero Trust security controls, Conditional Access policies, MFA, and identity governance.\nDrive hybrid cloud initiatives, workload migrations, automation, and cost optimization efforts.\nNetworking & Security\nManage network infrastructure including switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN connectivity.\nAdminister Cisco Meraki firewalls, rule sets, security zones, NAT policies, and site-to-site connectivity.\nMonitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement security best practices to protect company assets.\nData Platform Support\nMaintain and support data integrations between key business systems and our Snowflake data warehouse.\nManage connectivity, security, and operational health of Fivetran-based data pipelines.\nCollaborate with business and data teams to resolve synchronization issues, schema changes, and performance challenges.\nSupport integrations involving Microsoft Dynamics (Dataverse), ADP, Sedona, MAS, and other business-critical platforms.\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as the escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.\nMentor and support junior IT team members.\nPartner with leadership to align technology strategy, risk management, and business goals.\nParticipate in an after-hours on-call rotation for critical infrastructure events.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\n10–15 years of progressive infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience.\nHands-on experience managing enterprise server environments (40+ Windows and/or Linux servers), including Hyper-V administration.\nDell EMC SAN administration experience required.\nStrong expertise with Azure infrastructure services and cloud operations.\nDeep experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.\nStrong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, and network segmentation.\nCisco Meraki firewall and networking administration experience.\nWorking knowledge of Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt environments.\nProven ability to create technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMicrosoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, SC-300, MS-102, or MD-102.\nExperience with PowerShell and/or Python automation.\nFamiliarity with Dynamics 365/Dataverse integrations and APIs.\nExperience supporting Sedona, ADP, or MAS platforms.\nKnowledge of ITSM practices, NIST, CIS Controls, and cybersecurity frameworks.\nExperience in multi-site environments with WAN redundancy and high-availability architectures.\nFamiliarity with UL compliance standards and security/alarm monitoring infrastructure.\nWhy Guardian Security?\nFor nearly 50 years, Guardian Security has protected lives and property throughout Washington State.
