We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to lead our fabrication and powder coating operations.Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, ensuring product quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety standards. This role supervises production staff, coordinates workflow between fabrication and powder coating, and drives operational efficiency across the shop. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with proven leadership and team development skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations in steel fabrication and powder coating, ensuring production schedules are met.Supervise and coordinate shop personnel, including welders, fitters, drill operators, and material handlers.Interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications to ensure accurate production.Implement and maintain safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.Monitor quality control, including weld quality, coating application, and final inspection of finished products.Coach, mentor, and develop team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.Maintain organized workflow, efficient use of equipment, and continuous improvement of processes.Support onboarding and training of new employees on shop procedures and safety practices.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in steel fabrication or powder coating, including supervisory experience.Proficient in welding, steel fitting, and general fabrication processes.Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and quality standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, including outdoor conditions in Phoenix summers.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; ERP experience a plus.Local candidates only.
