This role differs from traditional requirements‑focused systems engineering positions. Instead, we are looking for a candidate with strong experience in verification, integration & test, and validation (V&V) —with emphasis on the “right side” of the Systems Engineering V-model.\n\nThis position is ideally suited for a senior‑level engineer; however, candidates with mid‑level experience will be considered if they possess the right integration and V&V background.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport system integration activities across hardware, software, and payload subsystems\n\nDevelop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans, procedures, and test events\n\nLead or support system‑level integration and test efforts\n\nPerform requirements verification through analysis, inspection, demonstration, and test\n\nTroubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution across cross‑functional teams\n\nSupport test readiness reviews, integration readiness reviews, and technical interchange meetings\n\nEnsure system performance meets mission and program requirements\n\nDocument test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions\n\nCollaborate with systems, software, hardware, and program teams to ensure successful system delivery\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field\n\nExperience supporting system integration, verification, and validation activities\n\nStrong understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model , particularly the integration and test phases\n\nExperience developing and executing test procedures and verification plans\n\nAbility to troubleshoot complex system‑level issues\n\nStrong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nSenior‑level systems engineering experience\n\nExperience supporting payload programs or defense/aerospace systems\n\nBackground in hardware/software integration environments\n\nExperience with formal test events and documentation processes\n\nFamiliarity with requirements management and traceability tools (DOORS, Jama, etc.)\n\nLevel Consideration\nSenior Level Preferred, but candidates with the appropriate integration and V&V experience at a mid‑level will be considered.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nMUST have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and MUST be able to pass drug and background checks.\n\nEEO Statement\nAnistar Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to fostering diversity in the workplace.
