This position is responsible for executing work orders, safely loading and unloading shipments, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate consistently delivers high-quality results by adhering to established safety protocols and operational standards.\n\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nStrictly adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.\nInterpret work orders or verbal instructions to determine job assignments, material handling requirements, and equipment usage.\nSafely transport freight, stock, and materials to and from designated staging and processing areas using forklifts and/or pallet jacks.\nLoad and unload materials on inspection lines, occasionally utilizing a hoist for heavier items.\nIdentify and determine proper material placement based on labeling, markings, or other identification methods.\nPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nWork is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk and hear. Standing 90%, Walking/sitting 10%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly is required.
