As a Program Support Engineer, you will be responsible for oversight and quality control functions within shipboard automated maintenance management systems.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nServe as Program Support Engineer assigned to our customer programs.\nServe as a consultant to the Shipboard Management Team, working closely with afloat and ashore team members in the life cycle management of the vessel.\nServe as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAMM Ashore and Afloat modules, taking ownership of technical issues in the program of record and driving resolution internally and externally.\nAssist the customer in troubleshooting and navigating maintenance support modules.\nAssist personnel with work package development and documentation of work performed during shipyard availabilities.\nReview ship availability plan of action and milestones (POAMS) and other shipyard availability information for data quality and policy compliance.\nTrain shipboard personnel on the use of maintenance management software, document work performed, and prepare debriefs for the customer(s).\nTracking the status of the assigned vessel maintenance activities, reporting on compliance, maintenance efficiency, and assisting the ship and Port Engineers in completing items.\nWorking with the Program Managers, Port Engineers, and Shipboard Engineers in correcting data quality errors.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Data Analysis, or related skills\n4+ years of experience as a government or commercial Port Engineer, or experience with a classification or flag state authority, with direct exposure to vessel regulatory compliance\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance\nStrong research, problemsolving, and analytical skills\nAbility to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly\nStrong verbal, written, and communication skills\nHighly organized and detailoriented\nDesired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Marine, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering\nA Valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) in Engineering\nRecent sailing experience with Military Sealift Command or U.S. Merchant Marine\nAbout Emprise Corporation\n\"We recognize that people are our greatest asset, and they are the reason for the success we have enjoyed.
