As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the entire project lifestyle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and reporting and will serve as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). FedWriters is expanding rapidly and has been recognized as a 2024 Top Workplace by Washington Post, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.\n\nWork Schedule and Location:\nRemote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.\nResponsibilities:\nBe responsible and accountable for the entire project and its outcomes, ensuring successful delivery of all project components\nServe as the primary liaison with the COR, maintaining effective communication and addressing any issues or concerns related to the contract\nCoordinate both programmatic and financial elements of the services provided, ensuring alignment with project objectives and contractual requirements\nEnsure completion of all reporting requirements as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including programmatic and financial reports\nInform the COR of any issues or concerns related to the contract, proposing solutions and mitigating risks as needed\nOversee all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure timely and within-scope delivery\nInterface with senior levels of the customer’s organization, providing updates and managing expectations\nConsult with customers and personnel to formulate and review project tasks, plans, and deliverables, ensuring conformance with schedules, costs, and contractual obligations\nDirectly manage a minimum of 10 mid-level team members, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with specific experience in federal grants\nProven experience in overseeing the drafting of technical documents for upper-level management\nExperience in direct management of a team of at least 10 mid-level professionals\nStrong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and budgeting\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with senior levels of the customer’s organization\nAbility to coordinate programmatic and financial elements of projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements\nProficiency in project management software and tools\nExperience working with federal contracts and understanding of federal grant requirements\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent\nFamiliarity with Performance Work Statements (PWS) and federal reporting requirements\n\nFedWriters is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.\nWhy Join Our Team:\nAt FedWriters, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
