propose solutions that balance compliance, cost, and operational impact\nServe as the single-threaded leader for physical security capital and sustainment programs within the assigned region\n\nPeople Leadership & Development\n\nLead, develop, and manage Security Program Managers and Contracted Security Project Managers across multiple clusters\nSet clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations\nBuild a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career development\nDevelop succession plans and ensure knowledge continuity across the program\nFoster a culture of technical rigor, continuous improvement, and customer obsession within the SPM team\n\nPhysical Security Design & Standards\n\nOwn the physical security design standards for new data center construction, expansions, and retrofit projects\nEnsure Basis of Design products comply with ICD 705, NIST, UL 2050, and applicable contract security specifications\nDevelop and approve Basis of Design products that establish security requirements and inform site-level design packages produced by SPMs\nDrive convergence of physical and electronic security systems into integrated, scalable solutions\nPartner with Data Center Engineering and Construction to influence facility design early in the project lifecycle\n\nFinancial & Portfolio Management\n\nOwn the security program budget across capital projects, preventative maintenance, and break/fix sustainment contracts\nDevelop and deliver accurate financial forecasts aligned to organizational planning cycles\nTrack portfolio-level spend-to-plan variance, identify risks early, and recommend corrective actions\nPartner with Finance and Procurement on contract strategy, vendor negotiations, and budget reviews\nEnsure SPMs effectively manage project-level budgets, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation\n\nVendor & Contract Strategy\n\nDefine vendor performance standards and contract requirements for security system installation and sustainment\nOversee vendor selection, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract execution at the program level\nMonitor portfolio-wide vendor performance against SLAs;
