Local candidates only (no relocation).\r\nMust haves: AWS experience, along with Java backend, RESTful APIs and Spring Boot as must skill set\r\n5-10 years of Java backend development, Spring Boot, Restful APIs a must\r\nOverall Purpose\r\nDevelops, documents, tests, debugs and maintains software product applications; provides expertise and familiarity in software tools, frameworks and best practices in secure software engineering. Collaborates effectively with other members of the team to deliver on the team's backlog.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nParticipates in the discussion and implementation around complex capabilities.\r\nDevelops complex features and capabilities to enhance the Early Warning core product offerings.\r\nReceiving, reviewing, and approving pull requests ensuring that code quality remains high.\r\nQuerying platform data using SQL-based DBs.\r\nWorking on complex Java Web Services using Spring Boot.\r\nDocument complex details and decisions in Confluence.\r\nBuilding automated tests alongside sprint work that is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, considering environment variables, and providing recommendations.\r\nAble to troubleshoot complex bugs that may arise during development.\r\nSupport the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.\r\nThe above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
