This role partners closely with business leaders, control owners, external auditors, and executive stakeholders to assess risk, evaluate control effectiveness, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\nThe ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in public company auditing, SOX implementation, and business process controls, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to leverage data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance audit effectiveness.\nKey Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, assessment, and testing of SOX controls across key business processes.\nPartner with Internal Audit leadership to develop, manage, and execute the annual SOX compliance plan, ensuring timely completion of all program milestones.\nPerform SOX scoping and materiality assessments to identify significant accounts, key risks, and critical controls through both quantitative and qualitative analysis.\nCollaborate with business process owners to maintain and enhance process documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, risk assessments, and control matrices.\nDesign testing approaches, execute control testing, and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the organization.\nCoordinate with external auditors to support walkthroughs, testing activities, evidence requests, and overall audit execution.\nEvaluate control deficiencies and process gaps, perform root cause analysis, and partner with management to develop and monitor remediation plans.\nIdentify opportunities to improve business processes, strengthen controls, and support organizational scalability and operational excellence.\nDrive ongoing enhancements to the SOX program through standardization, automation, continuous monitoring, and innovative audit methodologies.\nLeverage data analytics, AI‑enabled tools, and emerging technologies to improve audit quality, efficiency, and insight generation.\nReview audit workpapers and testing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.\nDepending on business needs, independently execute complex testing activities while providing oversight and quality assurance for team members and external resources.\nSupport operational, compliance, and special project audits as required.\nRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.\nActive CPA certification required.\n7+ years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, SOX compliance, or a combination of related experience.\nExperience leading SOX readiness, implementation, or compliance programs within public or pre-public companies.\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements, PCAOB auditing standards, COSO framework, and risk management principles.\nExperience designing, assessing, and testing controls across key business processes, including: Order-to-Cash (OTC)Procure-to-Pay (PTP)Inventory ManagementCost AccountingFinancial Close and Reporting\nDemonstrated project management experience leading complex audit or compliance initiatives from planning through execution.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high‑quality results in a dynamic environment.\nStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis capabilities.\nAbility to effectively partner across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and other functional organizations.\nPreferred Qualifications Big Four public accounting experience.\nExperience leading or managing an enterprise SOX program within a public company environment.\nExperience in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology industry.\nFirst‑year SOX implementation or public company readiness experience.\nExperience conducting operational audits, compliance audits, and enterprise risk assessments.\nExperience utilizing data analytics, automation tools, continuous monitoring solutions, or AI technologies within audit and compliance functions.\nAdditional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent professional credentials.\nExperience implementing innovative audit methodologies, intelligent automation, or AI‑enabled audit processes.\nThis position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs.
