{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7d8ea369cc6ba2aad71f2f15","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7d8ea369cc6ba2aad71f2f15","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7d8ea369cc6ba2aad71f2f15","title":"Machine Operator- 3rd Shift","description":"Your Career Begins at Timken\r\nIf you're ready for a challenging career that provides you with the ability to advance personally and professionally, look to Timken.Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.\r\nLocation:Timken Aerospace, Keene, NH.\r\nJob Type:Full time.\r\nShift:3rd Shift\r\nSchedule:Sunday- Wednesday 9:00pm-7:00am, Thursday- Overtime Day.\r\nPay Range:$30.00- $33.75\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nCompetitive Pay\r\nComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage.\r\nBenefits start on first day of employment.\r\n401(k) retirement savings plan with generous company match.\r\n10 paid holidays per year and paid vacation.\r\nPaid parental leave.\r\nEmployee discounts on products and services.\r\nTuition reimbursement upon start of employment\r\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth.Purpose/Responsibilities:\r\nPlan and perform a wide range of precision internal/external setups.\r\nMaintain a setup proficiency in a minimum of one operation group on a specific set of machine(s) applicable to your functional area.\r\nWork from part drawings, process sequence sheets and setup charts.\r\nSelect proper tooling, mount, dress and/or true grinding wheels where appropriate.\r\nCycle machine to produce test pieces, check parts and make machine adjustments as necessary.\r\nInspect components to ensure proper adherence to quality specifications.\r\nGage components using applicable gaging techniques and procedures, check gages for proper calibration using gage masters and adjust as necessary.\r\nVisually sample pieces for finish and surface quality.\r\nInstruct and lend technical assistance to and maintain a reasonable responsibility for work of each assigned operator if applicable.\r\nSchedule work to due dates while maintaining an operational effective efficiency.\r\nMaintain and comply with preventive maintenance schedule, impose, and comply with safety and hazardous material handling procedures.\r\nOperationally ensure the compliance and effectiveness of Statistical Process Control, maintain an operational quality standard.\r\nReport all operating difficulties to the appropriate supervisor; maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.\r\nMaintain and comply with process documentation.Technical/Functional Skills:\r\nGeometric dimensioning and tolerance.\r\nAbility to work in a team along with mentoring and training skills.\r\nGood written and verbal communications.\r\nAbility to use and/or setup various measuring devises or gages.Basic Qualifications:\r\nHigh School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
