The Foreman supervises the project as a whole, from the large-scale down to the details. The foreman is responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include scope requirements, quality standards, time requirements, and budget requirements. They are responsible for management as well as technical production duties.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsure all contract and project documents and details are reviewed, caught, followed and accounted for to minimize company risk.\nPlans, manages, and executes Projects in their charge.\nDevelop the Cable Run List and Cut Sheets.\nEnsure that the quality of the installation is to the highest level.\nSubmit a Daily Report every day.\nUpdates Labor Production Daily in Labor Plan.\nManage Material\no Keep Site Material Inventory Updated Daily\no Coordinate material delivery to site with PC.\no Take delivery of materials on site and count all material to verify quantities are right before you sign-off on the material being delivered. You must ensure that the packing slip, Bill of Materials (BOM) and our internal PO match up for all material delivered.\no Provide packing slips to the Purchasing Manager. This can be done as a picture of the packing slip sent to the Purchasing Manager.\nConduct and submit a Toolbox Talk once per week and submit to General Foreman.\nManage all company tools and equipment with care and keep well maintained.\nTrain and mentor field staff in proper installation methods and best practices.\nIdentify needs for RFI’s and change orders.\nPlan, direct and monitor construction activities with the General Foreman to ensure project is being built within scope, within code and standards, within schedule, within budget and within quality standards. Make adjustments as necessary.\nPerform physical work personally as needed for the size of the job.\nRepresent the company in project meetings.\nOversees the Safety Program and assures that all Safety Standards are being met and maintained.\nCoordinate with customer and other trades to ensure all obstacles to our work is cleared and our job layout is not being interfered with by other trades equipment.\nEnsure all inspections are passed the first time.\nThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.
