The Data Science & Analytics Technical Lead provides leadership, technical direction, and oversight for data science, analytics, and decision-support activities. The position leads analytical initiatives, manages distributed teams, and ensures delivery of high-quality analytical products that support mission, operational, and strategic objectives.\nThis role is onsite at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL (Onsite)\nRequired Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the planning, execution, and delivery of data science and analytics initiatives.\nProvide technical oversight and mentorship to analysts and data scientists.\nDevelop and implement analytical methodologies and reporting solutions.\nTranslate customer requirements into actionable analytical products.\nCoordinate analytical activities across multiple organizations and stakeholders.\nEstablish standards and best practices for data analysis and reporting.\nEvaluate and integrate emerging digital capabilities and technologies.\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership.\nEnsure data integrity, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.\nSupport strategic planning through data-driven insights.\nLead development of data governance and quality assurance processes.\nManage analytical roadmaps, priorities, and resource allocation.\nConduct technical reviews of analytical products and methodologies.\nDevelop performance metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.\nSupport continuous process improvement and innovation initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI security clearance.\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.\nCurrent DoD 8570-compliant certification.\nDemonstrated experience leading technical teams and analytical initiatives.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\nKnowledge of data management principles and analytics methodologies.\nExperience developing executive-level briefings and reports.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nStrong problem-solving and organizational skills.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nFive (5) years of experience working in SOF analytical support.\nThree (3) years of experience centrally managing distributed data support teams in SOF organizations at the headquarters echelon.\nThree (3) years of experience with SOF digital capabilities.\nThree (3) years of experience with SOF Headquarters elements, SOF Service Component Headquarters, and Theater Special Operations Commands.\nExperience with enterprise analytics platforms and business intelligence tools.\nExperience supporting geographically dispersed organizations.\nExperience implementing data governance frameworks.\nExperience mentoring and developing technical personnel.\n\nThe Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
