Small engineering team, high shipping cadence, deep commitment to craft.The Frontend Engineer will own major systems end to end, from architecture through to performance, and ship the interfaces that define how traders experience the product day to day.What You Will Build and Solve- Core Interfaces: Design, build, and maintain full-featured web applications and reusable UI libraries that stay fast, accessible, and scalable.- Data Visualisation: Ship high-performance, interactive charts and real-time visualisations that help traders make informed decisions.- Performance Engineering: Optimise application speed and reliability using advanced caching strategies, with sub-second load times as the baseline.- System Architecture: Integrate complex REST APIs and WebSocket streams while managing robust client-side cached state.- DevOps and Quality: Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, previews, testing, and clean rollbacks.What You Bring- 2+ years of professional experience building modern frontend applications in production.- Expert proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.- Strong design sensibility with a clear point of view on user interaction and how interfaces feel. Strong CSS and WAAPI experience.- Deep understanding of browser rendering, the DOM, and performance profiling tools (Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, and similar).- Experience writing maintainable test suites (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or similar).- Comfort operating in a collaborative, in-person engineering setting.- Authorised to work in the United States. This role is not open to visa sponsorship.LocationNew York City. In-person, not remote.Compensation$250K to $300K USD base salary plus meaningful equity.Short interview process.
