This is your opportunity to champion major programs, influence design and delivery standards, and create meaningful improvements across safer, more efficient, and forward‐thinking transportation networks.What You'll Do:Manage all aspects of highway and rail project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measuresServe as a "seller/doer," developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areasLead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the teamPrepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documentsTrack and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standardsPlay a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are metWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience; minimum of 8 years of project management experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredRoadway/hydraulic experience required; SCDOT experience preferredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferredProven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processesExperience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contractsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredAbility to travel as neededWhy You'll Love It Here:* Strengthen your project management and leadership skills as you guide teams and deliver impactful solutions for communities* Flexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travelCurious about the impactful work our Highway & Rail team is doing?
