Oversees accounts payable for the distribution center.Coordinates and completes cycle counts and physical inventory.Reviews and maintains transfer prices and communicates profitability concerns.Maintains fixed assets and CIP.Ensures compliance with New York sales and use tax statute. Maximizes applicable exemptions.Develops and maintains labor and overhead standards.Assists with the investigation of monthly production variances and provides analytical insight to recurring trends.Reviews inventory adjusts, ensuring proper valuation and costing of inventory.Reviews and reconciles inventory receipt accruals.Analyzes and implements cost accounting methods and procedures.Interacts with external auditors during audit process.Supports other departments as needed.Prepares ad-hoc profitability analysis.Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, plus 3-5 years of experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
