Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Clinician with A Second Chance Counseling Services, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals and families with various mental health conditions. Your role will involve conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapies to promote mental wellness. A portion of referrals come from Westmoreland County Children's Bureau to provide services to individuals and families, some of whom may be involved in the foster care system. Responsibilities include: - Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address mental health concerns - Providing direct support and counseling to individuals with mental health conditions - Utilizing crisis management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of patients - Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive treatment services - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation Relevant Experience: - 2-3years of experience as a Mental Health Therapist or related role - Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions - Ability to provide crisis intervention and manage challenging behaviors effectively -willingness to work evening or weekend hours to accommodate client's schedules If you are passionate about helping others improve their mental well-being and possess the necessary skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
