We are looking for a curious and proactive Operations Analyst to partner with leadership in Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, Finance, Program Management, Product & Engineering Operations, and others to develop and manage engineering, financial, and technical processes, execute key operational cadences, and drive successful business outcomes.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nManage and mature multiple key cross-organizational processes including Product Lifecycle, Engineering Ops, software capitalization, and others\n\nOperationalize emerging processes around FinOps and cloud spend management\n\nInstill discipline and consistency within the Product and Engineering teams in terms of operational methodologies and documentation, working with Senior Director & VP level resources\n\nWork closely with cross-functional resources as primary point of contact to improve communications, enhance visibility, and measure results of different strategic portfolios\n\nChampion tooling and process improvements that help the team and Fastly scale\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n4+ years in business operations or other key functions including business process improvement, and product or engineering teams (bonus points for both)\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead team initiatives by influence\n\nExperience effectively communicating across multiple levels including distributed teams\n\nFocus on results and outcome, not just process for process sake\n\nStrong action bias, preference for execution and incremental improvements\n\nAbility to document and train a variety of stakeholders on new and revised processes\n\nA history of putting structure around ambiguity\n\nWe'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:\n\nExperience working with engineering in a Tech organization\n\nExperience leveraging AI to automate and scale\n\nExperience presenting to executives and leadership\n\nAbility to independently plan and execute on multiple strategic initiatives or projects\n\nFunctional knowledge of financial, sales, or other core business metrics; experience with program management methodologies\n\nWork Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours.\n\nWork Location(s) & Travel Requirements:\n\nThis position is open to the following preferred office locations:\n\nFastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.\n\nThis position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.\n\nSF / LA Fair Chance Ordinance Statement\n\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\n\nThe estimated salary range for this position $102,780 is to $137,040.\n\nStarting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.\n\nThis role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.\n\nWe care about you.
