Design, implement, and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems. Optimize performance of web applications by implementing best practices in database management, caching, and server-side processing. Implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity. Conduct thorough testing and debugging. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to project planning and estimation. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. Qualifications Required: Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience and a STEM BS degree ( or equivalent experience ) . Proven experience as a Back -E nd Developer or similar role. Proficiency in C# and/or Java . Experience with web frameworks such as ASP.NET, Spring Boot, React, Angular, etc. Solid understanding of database management systems and proficiency in writing efficient queries. Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, for which one must be a US citizen. Desired Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certification Familiar with federal security standards strongly desired. Experience with front - end technologies such as Javascript , HTML, CSS, Vue, React, and/or Angular . Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or equivalent. Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
