Provides an efficient process for settling indemnity claims and service refunds for insured mail, improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.\nCICRS is designed to pay or deny indemnity claims against the Postal Service when there is loss or damage to insured articles in the mail stream. Once a claim is received into the CICRS system, the claim data is processed, and a determination is made to pay or deny the claim within 2 days.
